Capitol Hill Homes

Washington, D.C., home values increased 0.9 percent in August, with an overall increase of 12.4 percent form this time last year.

This is the 18th consecutive month Capitol Hill saw increases in property value.

Part of this is due to the overall housing boom earlier this year, caused by historically low mortgage rates.

Cities around the nation shared in this good news, including Phoenix, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Dallas.
