Washington, D.C. is no stranger to breaking records. Now, the city has beaten the nation in home values.
August was a good month for Capitol Hill. The average condo sold for $341,900, more than double the national average.
Home values also increased 0.8 percent from the previous month and 8.9 percent compared to last year prices. The national increase was about 6.6 percent.
